Creating a fruit basket can be fun and makes for a great gift. You can get creative with your fruit basket arranging skills and broaden your horizons in this decorated home skill.

The great thing about arranging a fruit basket is you can get as creative as you want with it. Once you've arranged it with the fruits of your choice, you can decorate it however you wish.

A beautiful basket, with a plastic colored paper covering and even a bow are some of the most common decorations you can use.

Collect your fruit. Ponder about the colours and tastes you’d like for the recipient to experience when they see the basket.

Choose the basket. Think about the capacity of the basket in relation to the amount of fruit you’d like to put inside it. If you want the fruit to pop out and be very visual consider a medium to smaller sized basket.

Arrange your fruit. Create a solid base for your smaller fruit with the bigger fruit at the bottom. Organise the fruit so there is a cohesive harmony between them. Remember to not leave any holes so smaller fruits end up at the bottom and get crushed.

Decorate. When you’re happy with your arrangement, finish your basket off with a bow on

the handle and consider some plastic wrapping so no dirt or bugs touch the fruit.
