Even if you have limited funds, and can't or don't feel like cooking, you can still feed yourself nutritionally without the need to cook.

Travel Eating. Eat foods that need no refrigeration such as dried fruits, raisins, seeds, nuts, and long lasting vegetables like carrots, peppers or cabbage.

Mix and match your sandwiches. Try new things like breads, meats, cheeses, sauces, and vegetables to keep it fresh and tasty! Always eat brown bread with fiber if you don’t want stomach cramps or blockage.

Create your salads. Instead of bread, use vegetables and your sandwiches can be turned into delicious salads. Experiment with sauces, dressings, textures and flavors to make it enjoyable for you.

Try and avoid microwave food. Even though it is very convenient, the fact that food can be heated that fast should set off alarm bells. This is not a healthy way of heating food that you’ll
consume and pass through your digestive system. Nutrients are lost through this process and can mess with the way your body chemically deals with foods with micro-waves in them.

Food Courts. Visit a food court where food is prepared fresh and take your pick from the options there like soups etc.

Buying meals. When you visit a store to buy food, plan ahead and get more than you need so you don’t have to keep going back every time you need something.

Dinner with Friends. Make friends and go over for dinner once in a while. Use this privilege scarcely if you don’t want to look like a scrounger.

Restaurants. Take advantage of refills and seconds if they’re offered. All you can eat buffets are a great place to stretch your money. Take food to go, for later when you are hungry again.
