Want to develop your football freestyle skills like those pros you’ve seen doing those incredible tricks?
Some of the tricks are done through daily routines and practice and others need some talent to pull off.
Even if you feel you have no talent, you’ll be surprised what you can do if you put enough time into your practice session.
You could be competing against the best sooner than you think.
With a little practice and dedication you could be laying down those tricks that you've always wanted to do.
Step by Step
Practice for an hour everyday, soon enough you’ll feel like you can do 1000 keepy-uppies without ever feeling you’re going to drop the ball, it’s a fantastic feeling.
Try this with both feet until you can balance it easily and can transfer it between both feet in the air. This move is a ‘stepping stone’ move that will lead onto other more decorated tricks.
•Go for a regular juggle but this time move your leg up and over at the same speed as the ball travels upwards.
•Then bring your leg down to catch the ball on its way down before it hits the ground.
•This move can be done inside out or outside in. Either way flick the ball on the outer side to make it spin in the air and give you more time to go around it. Remember to practice this with both feet.
Start from a juggling position and send the ball above your head, at the same speed as the ball comes down, bend your waist a 90 degree angle and let your neck and shoulders absorb the ball’s energy so it doesn’t bounce away. The ball should rest comfortably on the back of your neck, balance it with your shoulder blades.
If you want to make the move more advanced, fold your head down and as the ball begin to roll down towards your head, flick your head up in a smooth motion to send the ball in the air. Catch the ball with your feet and keep juggling.
Another thing you could do is to sen the ball high into the air, but instead catch it again in the same way on your neck, this will get you those oohs and aahhs you want.

Notes
